In the tree tops again

From enchanting vistas to black sand beaches to tree top walks you are conscious that you are in a young country made of volcanoes and many of them still active.
here is our first walk on the canopy Walkway at the AH Reed memorial Kauri park at Whangarei falls. Here we saw some of the remnants of the original Kauri trees with their tall straight trunks and their wonderful colourings. They have been very heavily logged but were once extensive in the Northland.
