Sister's reunion.........

Photo of george Angus and Seanagh.
George and Seanagh, Mick's sister, met us at Brisbane Airport - a little en retard as is their wont - but the greetings were hearty and they had planned a delightful drive back to their home through the Mary Valley and the Glasshouse Mountains where once again the views were terrific. We stopped at the top of a mountain looking over the valley for a picnic and a good old chat prior to reaching their new home in Gympie.
They have now been out of Zimbabwe for almost two years and they are enjoying the freedom of life in Australia. All of them look well and less stressed than when we saw them last and they have a lovely home on 4 acres close to town. They will feel really relieved and settled when they eventually get their permanent visas. This is hard as they have to bring a huge amount of money into the country, establish a business which must make a profit in three years and employ two Australians. They now have a photography shop in Gympie and from knowing nothing about cameras and photography two years ago they are now very knowledgable. Angus who is with them is particularly expert now and enjoys the running of the business. I really admire them all starting over again but, although sad to leave their beloved Greycourt Farm, they are happy to feel safe in as beautiful country as Australia and in as beautiful a situation as the Mary Valley.
We spent a happy week with them traveling around the area and seeing the interesting places close by from markets at Eumundi to boutique shops at Montville and glorious walks at Amamoor and train rides to Imbli. It was fun and interspersed with chat chat and more catching up chat as families do.
