Kiwi land

What a beautiful land is New Zealand. We opted to use a camper van again and focus just on the North island feeling that we couldn't see both islands in two weeks - and we were right.
Firstly the pace is a little slower here and the roads ensure you don't ot go fast. I think the road into Auckland is the only straight road that I saw - the majority are more curvaceous than those in BC. You are up and down and round and with no protective barriers on the edge I was constantly asking Mick if he could move the van over a bit as I felt I was going over the edge at any moment.
Scenes like this were constant and every bend in the road brought glorious new vistas.
We started from Auckland up the northland peninsular on the east side across and down the west side before heading to the land south of Auckland. What a great introduction to NZ.
We meandered along the winding roads through scenery that reminded us of England only a little wilder.
