Tobago

Tobago was our last stop but unfortunately we didn't get there as when we went to get our ferry tickets they were all standby which we couldn't risk ....undeterred we went to the airport for a flight there as we had already planned to fly back en route to canada.....no flights all booked. So we headed for the Trinidad beaches on the south east coast instead and had a couple of beach days relaxing before heading for home. Too bad not to see the glorious beaches of Tobago but....we still had a good time and what for me was even lovelier was flying into Canada over Niagara which i had never seen from that angle and to see the number of trees in the subdivisions and later the sedate flow of the traffic and the absence of litter on every street.

We had a happy reunion with Gavin and Jenn and a quick catch up as we headed off to Mick's brother in Peterborough and another reunion with family amazed by the growth of our great niece and nephew in the time we have been away and after talking ourselves hoarse and getting little sleep we headed for London and friends there. We are now returning for a weekend with our eldest and then home. Our adventure at an end.....for the moment.

Sincere apologies for the awful spelling and grammar as I hurriedly wrote these blogs and looking forward to connecting in a more leisurely fashion in July once we are unpacked and have hosted our friends and relatives for the month of June!!! (That's Kelowna for you - the four season playground.) Just hope West Jet will let us on with our baggage otherwise it's the Greyhound bus!!!
