Just for Fun

Here are some of our local sites that we see as we do our shopping each week.
The top left is the Bag Bay at one of the grocery stores. All students must leave their backpacks at the bay with the security guard as must we all leave our large bags - just in case we feel like walking off with something!
Thought you'd love the Home Depot which is just next door to where we live. Not much like the one in Kelowna but it has a presence!
The photo above is the newly opened Roti Hut. It has a very flashy and catchy advertisement on the local TV encouraging all to buy their bread there or stop by and have a snack/meal. It provides fresh bread much as we would get at home, wholewheat, multi grain, rye as well as baguettes and fancy cakes (It is where Mick and Jessica bought the birthday cake earlier). It also has a small eating area where it serves very NA type food definitely not good for the local waistlines but you can get a cheaper coffee there if you are desperate. It of course has a guard outside watching your bikes for you and is air conditioned ( a great attraction) and smells wonderful (far too tempting).
