Frustration......

I am so frustrated that I cannot get to my computer more often than I do as so much is happening and so many experiences that I want to share with you but just do not get the time to do so. However I'll hit the highlights and look forward to sharing the rest by email of phone or when I see you next - if you can bear it all!
I can't believe that I have been here only 6 weeks as it seems a lot longer and there is so much to tell.
This is my office which as you see is bright and airy. I do have a fan but no air conditioner and i am sure you will note that I have no computer, phone or internet. How I am expected to do the necessary research, appointment making and report writing without such equipment i d not know. Apparently my computer is sitting on the dock where it has been since June 06 and despite frequent calls from my line manager no one in the procurement section seems to know how to get this donation of several computers and various other pieces of donated equipment off the dock and into where they are needed!!
The answer to this problem is that my line manager who happens to be #3 in the Ministry will give me the use of her office for 2 hours at a time when she is able to. Last week that was Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This week who knows. I find that my mind really doesn't work well in such pressured allocations of time and I have lists of phone calls to make, emails to send and research to do when I hit her office and find I am racing against time when there.... and of course she wonders why I haven't done the Needs Analysis and the report by now and why I indicate that I may not have it done by January when the first 3 months is up!!!
Superwoman I may be but not Superwoman Researcher and Report Writer!!!
