House at last

I am sorry that I cannot seem to get the photos to come up where I want them but at least they are up.... and while I am apologising I am ashamed when I re read some of these at a later date that my spelling is so terrible - sorry, but as usual everything is being done in haste. he teachers among you must be cringing!

Well here are some photos of where we are now living because on the Monday 30th October I was called away from my orientation and told to go back to the guesthouse and get packed ready to leave at 3.30pm.

We were duly ready but the housing manager from the Ministry turned up at 5.15 .
We went to the house that the woman from the guesthouse had told us would be ours and the owner was no where to be found! So we went to jente's new apt and dropped her off and came back to ours - no landlord. Getting dark and everyone wanting to be home, after some discussion with local people they found him at the internet cafe taking a call. How do they find out such things. However he came strolling over unapologetic, and rightly so because no one had told him when we were arriving and as a 'busy business man he couldn't hang around waiting for Ms Seeley (the housing lady)'. Because this woman had been so rude in her dealings with us we were delighted that he stood his ground. However we did get in and as you see it is a pretty outside - we are upstairs - and is in reasonable condition, although could do with a good paint. you see the lounge with TV where Mick watches his cricket and we see the BBC World News at 7pm plus the very tiny dining area. Adequate though.
